All students with CLET have the option to change their enrolled course to any other course offered by CLET within the following guidelines.
Any change from a course at one level to a course at a different level or at the same level, can occur at any time assuming that the learner meets all established entry requirements of the new course. Course fees paid to date on the original course can be transferred to the new course on a pro-rata basis, measuring resources already made available and/or expended by CLET on the learner's participation in the original course.
Courses offered by CLET are fully flexible with no due dates.
The total anticipated times for completion of CLET courses are as follows:
Extensions are available for all CLET courses. However, courses regularly change and sometimes an extension is not an option that CLET can provide. You can reach out to CLET staff at any time on 1300 760 605 or info@clet.edu.au to enquire about your course timing.
If a course is changing and timeframes are implemented, CLET will advise all affected learners immediately upon learning about the change, and follow up three months, six months, and just prior to the expiration of the transition or teach out period. Wherever possible, CLET will provide options to transfer to the current version of any course that has changed.
Here at CLET we strive to ensure that our standards of quality meet the demands stipulated in the VET Quality Framework and pursuant to the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015. The CLET Code of Practice has been developed to provide learners and clients with a commitment to the maintenance of high standards in the provision of vocational training and assessment and other client services.
CLET is conscious of its impact as a company on its social and economic environment. CLET is an inclusive and diverse work environment.
For CLET, all staff are within virtual reach and interact with management daily. This means that there is little to no threat of labour rights being negatively impacted. This does not negate the responsibility for CLET to preserve the rights of its employees and to ensure their happiness in the workplace.
To support its staff, CLET allowed all employees to leave the shared physical work office and commence working from home in 2019. This improves the working environment for staff and increases family and personal time.
By 2022, CLET had altered all staff working weeks to four days with five days pay. This is supported by research from around the world and increases staff satisfaction, staff work output, and improves staff well-being.
Beyond staff, CLET also recognises the unique needs of its client base and works tirelessly to ensure that these needs are met with minimal stress caused to the individual. To do this, CLET has a team who is online 7 days per week, and answers personal calls and texts at all hours of a day, to ensure that client needs are met. This is in line with a client base who historically work shift work and have post-service mental, emotional, and physical conditions to manage. Flexibility supports this client base and CLET team members embrace the level of social responsibility owed to these workers who have given so much for the community.
CLET also embraces the need to share and encourage learning for all and offers as many opportunities as possible for individuals to increase their learning, or be recognised for existing skills and knowledge. This allows CLET to contribute to the larger community by supporting its individual members in endeavours that improve employment opportunities. This improves individual job satisfaction and supports the local economy.
